On 1-2 February 2020 an open swimming tournament «Believe in yourself!» for children with disabilities for prizes of the Paralympic champion, Hero of Ukraine Viktor Smirnov took place in Slovyansk.
During 2006-2014, the tournament was held in Donetsk. However, after the outbreak of the military conflict in Donbass its location was changed. 150 young sportsmen with hearing and visual impairment as well as musculoskeletal diseases from eleven oblasts of Ukraine and Kyiv participated in «Believe in yourself!».
DMS Corporation was one of benefactors who have supported conducting of the sports event in Slovyansk. «Within social mission of our company, which consists in supporting sport in Donetsk region, we couldn’t ignore The Tournament of Victor Smirnov. This competition is a unique sport platform of development of the Paralympic movement not only for our native region but for all Ukraine as well.» — the CEO of DMS Corporation Andriy Alyosha said.
