On March 17, the Government of Ukraine approved the draft resolution “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 1, 2005 №668” developed by the Ministry of Regional Development, which regulates relations between the customer and the contractor. restoration and overhaul of construction objects.
In particular, the document provides for the possibility of attracting a consulting engineer to manage the construction project and control its implementation, which will ensure the quality of design documentation and construction of facilities.
It also regulates the issues of providing the customer with design documentation developed in electronic form or in the form of electronic documents using BIM technologies. The use of BIM technologies in construction will reduce project implementation and reduce construction costs.
Adoption of this resolution will promote the introduction in Ukraine of international forms of agreements, more balanced in relation to the parties. This, in turn, will ensure a clear and coordinated relationship between the participants in the construction process, will simplify and unify the conclusion of relevant contracts with international financial institutions and the conclusion of contracts for construction projects, including for public funds.
