The new acquisition of UVLK is the six-axle shunting diesel locomotive ČME3, designed to perform shunting and removal operations. This locomotive has the following technical characteristics:

- Continuous traction force — 225.6 kN (23 tf)
- Continuous mode speed — 11.4 km / h
- Design power — 95 km / h
- Tangential power — 970 hp
- Fuel capacity — 6000 l
- Sand stock — 1500 kg
- Water supply —1100 l
- Oil reserve — 650 l
After the going through necessary rebranding pocedure the ČME3 locomotive will be put into operation under the logo of Ukrainian Locomotive Freight Company.
